The gallery above (thanks to WordPress!), will show you some photos from our service. Clicking on individual pics will give you an enlargement in a new window. The moon pics were taken Easter morning. Members and visitors were encouraged to bring flowers for the flower cross at the entrance to the auditorium. We had about 2,000 worshippers strong and it was a glorious day – including the flawless weather! There are no photos of the interior that were taken on the day of the service, as I was quite busy singing on stage! The interior shots of the backdrop (created and painted by my husband several years ago), “empty tomb,” some of our musicians, and the dancers were all taken during the rehearsal the day before Easter. Near the end are photos of the flower cross “completed,” there are a couple with our pastor, Chuck Wilson, including one with his wife, Karen, posing in front of the cross (at my request). The white cross at the end is one that has stood at Lake Junaluska for decades. It is lit at night and visible from quite a distance – a local landmark – and is beautiful. The dogwoods are leafing out, but still lovely, and the perfect symbol of the Resurrection of Christ.
I wish you all enough. . .
