Sidey’s weekend theme is “Feet.”
Herewith my contribution:
Somewhere below my enormous seat,
I’ve discovered that I have two feet.
Occasionally they are visible to me
At times when something’s risible to me.
When I laugh, my belly sways back and forth
Or down and up, from south to north.
So, if I stand in just the right way,
My feet, for a moment, see the light of day.
Otherwise, they stand planted in the shade
‘Neath the adipose shadow my belly has made.
Therefore, in order for my feet to get a tan
I laugh as often as I can.
‘Cause since I’m neither trim nor buff,
I must laugh long, and hard, and often enough. . .

Awesomely funny! – thanks for the laugh. Good to see you’re back to form, Paula. 🙂
A slow process. . .I’m working on it! Thank you, and glad you found another reason to laugh!
Great feet piece! I am printing to tape to my hubby’s computer right now.
It’s a lovely idea, it reminds of Santa’s belly, which shakes, when he laughs, like a bowlful of jelly.
the last line is so true, we must all laugh more.
Especially if you want tan feet! 😆
Your stomach and mine ought to get together , then they could do a rumba!
very good Pauline! Yes you did say that you were going to have a break from blogging but as yet I have not noticed it.. did you forget or was it THAT quick!
Its good to know that you are there anyway.xx
I’d love to come to Bulgaria and do the tummy rumba with you! 😆
I love it, Paula!
Thank you, Dee!
You remind me of Uncle Albert: “I love to laugh, long and loud and clear..”
See you on the ceiling, Paula.
Not sure my belly will let me get that high. . .
i giggled and gave my feet a chance for some sun
Always a nice idea. Otherwise our feet can look like beached white whales. . .
How cheerful! I love it!
Thank you! How kind of you to visit! I hope to be back to posting on a regular basis soon – after my hiatus, or “blogatical” as I have named it! If you subscribe, you will get notices when I am “back up” and on a regular schedule.
I’ll be around to visit you soon. Until then, and always, I wish you enough. . .

And what a great piece of FICTION . . . unless you’ve been eating profusely on vacation.
Ashley told me it was a piece of fiction. . .some days I’m not so sure! 😆
